After a long delay, the shotcrete was done on October 25, 2005. It was pretty amazing to watch. 3 cement trucks came to the house for a total pour of 33 yards! There was a large diesel compressor that would pump the shotcrete out through a hose and a guy would direct the concrete into the steel form. Then several other guys would shape and smooth the concrete to the correct shape using guide wires that were strung across the pool earlier in the morning.
