We are having an inground pool put in the back yard. There are several steps and we are taking pictures along the way!
We finally bought some new bedroom furniture. Prior to this we had a combination of our childhood furniture. Check out the pictures.
For some crazy reason, I got the idea to paint the garage floor. So we had to move EVERYTHING off the floor. (In preparation, in November of last year I installed lots of heavy-duty wall shelves.) Then I had to use a degreasing cleaner, then an acid etcher just to get the floor "clean". Then a friend of mine helped me fill in the big expansion joints with some crack filler. Then I could finally apply the paint. I used up most of my Christmas break on this project. Looks good though, don't it! Check out the pictures.
My friend Daniel has a plane, so I took a ride with him. While we were flyin' around, we flew by the house for a few quick pictures. I also made a short movie of it. There is a small (2.2 MB) and large (5.7 MB) version.
Erica kind of hated the big ugly entertainment center that I brought from college. So we got a new one, and a new TV to go with it! See the pictures.
The down-side to getting a new house is that they leave the backyard as just plain dirt. So after almost a year we got around to getting the whole thing done. We had 2 citrus trees, 2 queen palm trees, and a bunch of other plants put in, along with an auto watering system. We also had red rock installed over all the dirt. Check out the pictures.
Since we bought a house that wasn't build yet, we got to watch it being built. So lots of pictures were taken.
When Erica came out in December of 2000 to interview at Raytheon, we spent the weekend house shopping. We found a community that was just beginning construction, so we picked out a lot and a house. These pics are of the model that we saw, and also the lot we picked.
